Necessary?!
I only discovered this local silliness yesterday during a cinema food break! This sign is up in front of the A10 and Southbury Road junction in Enfield. A very busy crossroads. Is this sign a little too over the top for pointing out the obvious?!

Film Reviews
Firstly I could find NO sole image for this film! I had to take the small thumbnail from the Cineworld page! This film was ok. We missed the beginning, but it was very easy to work out the plotline. Take 'Save The Last Dance', mix it with 'Coyote Ugly' and you have this synopsis. Its a predictable, life is not like that really kind of film!
This was the sing along version!! Same as before but with the words on screen! Much fun to round off our day!

0808 Festival Fun
Its all over...well the festival part anyway. The weekend went really well and I think everyone involved would agree. We were blessed with good weather. My flickr album of pictures from the weekend can be seen by clicking on this image. This week the mission projects are going on all across North London and the stories coming in so far are all positive.

Film Review
A feel good film. Not very realistic, but fun nevertheless. Its a very classic misunderstood bad girl turns good! It was a very slanted view of England, not a chain store or town in sight! But the boarding school attitude was fairly spot on, as I went with my best friend who attended one!Tuesday, 19 August 2008

Festival Time
Yesterday I went to Soul Survivor C for the day. I always like to get in a trip to Shepton Mallet in July/August or it just doesn't feel like summer to me! Without realising it the years have passed and Soul Survivor has been part of my summers for the past 12 years!! Momentum is my new favourite festival of choice, however this year it clashes with 0808 (see below) and I had to decide where my loyalties were!! (I shall be returning to Momentum in 09!)
Having friends in The 29th Chapter helped this year, as I was offered guest day passes. Things feel so much better when they cost nothing, IMHO! There were a few people at SSC who I knew, so me and my friend Emma spent the day catching up with friends and enjoying the atmosphere of the showground. As it was my first time as a day visitor I got to gloat about the fact that we could go back to real beds, out of the rain, in a real house in Bath!! The site this year was very muddy, small bogs in fact! I did not envy the campers!

Film Review
This is another film that makes me wish I lived in a different era. This film portrays a very glamorous glimpse of London at the end of the 1930s. I was a little confused at the end of the film, as it didn't seem to have a major point to it, as everything seemed to happen so quickly. But saying that I did enjoy it. It showed that people from all sides of life can be hiding massive secrets about themselves. It also showed that fame and money isn't the answer to everything, and that loves conquers over all!!

Abandoned Hobby
I love photography. Both taking photos and looking at other peoples work. But recently I've just lost the desire to do it myself. I dont know why, maybe its being too busy. I need to get off my backside and start taking more pictures again.

Film Review
Hmmm...like all films that are rubbish, the best bits were in the trailer. Maybe rubbish is too strong a word, it was a fun film. But I was disappointed, seeing as I'd been looking forward to seeing this for a while. It did remind me of how 14 year old girls viewed boys and relationships. Its been a while since I was 14!
